This comedic cop series chronicles the personal and professional lives of the detectives in Brooklyn's fictional 99th police precinct. The nine-nine's eclectic roster includes the rule-breaking Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), the uptight Det. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero), the klutzy Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio), and Capt. Ray Holt (Andre Braugher), the by-the-book commanding officer (who also happens to be gay).
