Detached and labeled difficult she finds solace in a sexual relationship with Damon, until one day...for 16 year old Aracely, pregnancy throws her traditional Latin family into turmoil. Kicked out of the house, she must learn to battle poverty, incarceration and the stress of childhood cut short, as she tries to make a life for herself, her boyfriend and her child. Night after night, 14 year old Christina waits for her 29 year old mother Diane to come home from another weekend with yet another man. Like he mother, she begins partying, doing drugs and sleeping with any guy she wants. Her life is about to change...
