Arizona Terror (1931): Cole Porter and his henchmen have been buying cattle, then killing the seller. When the Arizonian (Ken Maynard) goes in search of the criminals, he is ambushed. The badly wounded cowpoke is rescued by Kay Moore, the daughter of a rancher. Porter kills the girl's father and frames the Arizonian for the murder. On the run from the law, he joins forces with a notorious criminal in a desperate bid to clear his name. Range Warfare (1935: Cattle rustlers are terrorizing the territory, and U.S. Marshall Reb Russell is called in to find out who's behind the operation. When his investigation leads to the local sheriff, Reb passes himself off as a trigger-happy outlaw and gets himself hired by the cattle thieves. Posing as a rustler, he plans to gather the evidence that will bust the gang wide open. Born in Kansas on May 31, 1905, Reb Russell ranks as one of the greatest collegiate football stars ever produced by the state. Film star Tom Mix became friends with Reb, securing him a screen test at Universal. Reb then signed to Kent Pictures where he starred in nine low-budget western "classics." Starring Reb Russell, Lucille Lund, Wally Wales, Roger Williams, Lafe McKee, "Slim" Whitaker, Chief Black Hawk; directed by S. Roy Luby.
