"In America we build porches to see our neighbors," says narrator Walter Huston, "in Britain they grow hedges to make sure they don't."

TWO DOWN AND ONE TO GO - 1945: A one-reel cutdown of a longer film directed by Frank Capra detailing the Allies' recent defeat of Italy and Germany - and the importance of Japan being "completely crushed" in the words of Army Chief of Staff George Marshall.
