In Mozambique, where many people think sending a girl to school is "like watering another man’s garden," a young woman named Sofia is studying to be a doctor - but soon finds that her professor wants more from her than hard work. An unwillingness to compromise her values - and potentially her health - may cost her a place at the university, an irretrievable loss in a country with so few opportunities for women.
