Before the Knight Sabers arrived in MegaTokyo, the overworked, under funded and outgunned AD Police had to hold off a swelling tide of technological violence. File 1: The Phantom Woman
AD Police rookie Leon McNichol gets a rough introduction to the job when he as to prove that another cops death was in the line of duty and not a suicide. Meanwhile, illegally refurbished boomers are going berserk - and one of them is stalking him!

File 2: The Ripper
Detective Iris Kara is investigating a series of gruesome prostitute murders, while at the same time she is considering getting one of the new artificial organs (an eye) to improve herself. But at what point does one stop being human, and start becoming a machine?

File 3: The Man Who Bites His Tongue
Critically wounded, AD Police officer Billy Fanword is rebuilt as a heavily armed cyborg cop. But Billy, who can now confirm his humanity only by biting his tongue, soon learns that invincibility isnt all its cracked up to be!
