7th Commandment

What a gritty, sleazy drive-in B-classic this is it's sooo enjoyable. A man (Kidd) and his oh-so-seductive girlfriend (Statten) have a car accident. He wanders away from the accident, now suffering from amnesia, leaving another driver and his girlfriend unconscious. He falls in with a traveling preacher and takes up a new life as a reverend. Trouble rears it's ugly head, though, when his former sexpot girlfriend (now an ex-con) and her crooked boyfriend come looking for blackmail. The wedding scene is a hoot! Statten's opening moments as she flirts with Kidd after his graduation from night school are amazingly seductive. (1961)
