1915

Captain Salih Ekrem was a young air officer who flew one of the first Ottoman planes. In February 1915, when the British fleet launched it's first attacks, the Pilot left Istanbul and headed to Gallipoli. During an air reconnaissance mission, the Pilot noticed a group of medical personnel, including a young nurse, being attacked. Without hesitation, the Pilot rushed to their aid. Together, they worked through the most violent and terrifying days of the war. (2015)
